It’s been an incredible first year for Join Me In The Pines who unleashed four beautiful videos for tracks ‘Joy Is A Lion, ‘Golden Guilt’, ‘Should Not Roam’ and lastly ‘At First Light’ from their debut album  ‘INHERIT’ available to buy as a digital download, on CD and Vinyl. JMITP toured the length and breath of Ireland and are now delighted to announce a Theatre Tour which will kick off next February, 2015.

Join Me In The Pines began touring in Spring by selling out Dublin’s Unitarian Church and Coughlan’s in Cork. Following on from this success JMITP performed tracks from their debut album ‘Inherit’ around Ireland hitting venues, in Cork, Dublin, Belfast, Wexford, Waterford, Kilkenny, Limerick finishing off 2014 in Dingle’s District Courthouse where they played to locals and peeps that were in Dingle for Other Voices. JMITP were also invited to perform songs in the Blasket Centre for the next season of Other Voices TV Show that will air on RTE 2 next Spring.

JMITP’s front man is Bell X1’s David Geraghty who released his debut solo album ‘Kill Your Darlings’ in 2007, to critical and fan acclaim. The album was also nominated for a Choice Music Prize that year. 2009 saw David return with his second solo offering ‘The Victory Dance’. Both of these albums were written and recorded between stints in the hectic Bell X1 touring schedule.

It is a busy year for Mr. Geraghty as he has just completed the film score for “You’re Ugly Too” starring Aidan Gillen. The film is set to premier at the prestigious Berlin film festival in February 2015.

If 2014 is anything to go by, 2015 will be another fantastic year for Dave and Join Me In The Pines. Kicking off on Valentine’s day they will tour Ireland until the end of April.
